This is not a good product~!

I returned as it will not work with my surround system. The problem is known to Roku and Pioneer and they do not work together. Had to return and get a refund. It cost me the return postage and I thought that to be unfair.
Pros: Nice Refund Policy, No Surround Sound
Cons: Pioneer Roku Bad Fit, Was Not Compatible

Defective: Waiting for replacment

All I heard were raves and I can see why if this thing worked as it should, but it doesn't. Connections to a dual band router were constantly dropping even with an excellent signal. The unit wouldn't connect at all to the 5Ghz signal. I was issued an RMA and am waiting for my replacement. The first thing I'll try is connecting to the 5Ghz side of the router. If it doesn't connect this thing is going back immediately.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Attractive Design
Cons: Poor Dual Band Support

The way I see it: it you use it to watch paid subscriptions like Hulu and Netflix, it does a fine job. Outside these paid sites, other Rolu-specific HD contents are very limited. Roku is essentially a box for Hulu and Netflix. But I can watch Hulu and Netflix on my computer too. Without much Roku-specific content, what is the point of having a Roku?

roku keeps loosing wifi signal

I have Verizon dsl ~ 3 mbps and I have a hard time getting TWIT dependably, it keeps dropping out and trying to download and largely it fails. It could be variations on wifi or just that I don't know enough about operating roku. The prerecorded programs work fine, the others are ify. any suggestions?
Pros: Fast Setup, Rounded Remote Bad Design, Simple Controls

System crashes regularly and it takes 30 minutes plus to reinstall from scratch.

Roku 3 is junk

I have Roku 2 previously and bought Roku 3 after reading all the reviews. Buying Roku3 is not at all worth, instead i will recommend everyone to buy roku 2 due to bad streaming and many flaws in the roku 3 system. Volume button's doesnt work if you hook the Tv to a receiver and i dont think head phones is a great feature after paying 30 add bucks more than roku 2 and loosing the best streaming
