Works like a charm

I tried to access Netflix from my DVD player for a while. After long load times and constant picture freezes, I went back to the Roku, where I haven't experienced any problems. The remote is very simple and easy to use. I can operate it in the dark or without looking at it. My wife has her own Roku on her bedroom TV and watches English detective shows on Netflix. I don't think she's watched any satellite channels in weeks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had it a few months and it works like a charm. Only one thing costing the last star and that is the file format support in the Roku media player app, please add more codecs.

Compact, simple, fast

I have many devices that can stream video, but none as quickly and smoothly as my Roku 3. The remote is easy to use, and the fact that it's bluetooth and not infrared makes it easier to use in my room. The box is small and really easy to setup, as is its use in browsing channels. I really like how you can search for media across all services Roku offers with one search.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Alternative for a Non-Smart TV

I bought this because I ended up getting a non-smart TV to replace my broken smart TV. This is a great way to add apps to any TV without the expense of buying a smart TV.
The apps on the Roku 3 load pretty quick and there is a lot of content available. I especially like that I can watch my shows on Netflix that the rest of the family doesn't like with the headphones on as not to disturb them while they sleep (I am an early riser). I know Roku doesn't control how the apps work, but some of them are Hokey at best. My daughter loves Anime and there are a few apps that are filled with Anime shows, however there are a lot of ads unless you pay a fee for the app.
The size of the unit is small enough so that it doesn't take up any additional room in our entertainment case, you can also mount it behind the TV if you choose.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Roku 3 makes streaming fun!

For the past 4 years I was using my laptop to stream content. It was a hit and miss proposition. Some streaming was very good, quite a few were poor. With the Roku 3 I can select sports for myself and movies and TV shows for my wife. When grandkids visit there are a lot of shows to keep them happy. Setup was very eas.
