Audio distortion

I have a roku 2 and recently bought a roku 3. Roku 3 is great in many ways but after being on for a while the audio becomes distorted, this has never happened with the roku2.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sound Problems

I had sound playback problems with my unit the first week. Tech support was helpful and sent me a new remote. That didn't fix the problem. Then they sent me a replacement unit. Same problems exists. There are sound drop-outs when using the ear buds. I think Roku knows about this problem and just played along with the attempted resolution of the problem. Sometime the sound will not come through the speakers at all. This requires unplugging the power for the unit. Or sometimes placing the ear buds jack in and out of the remote will get it to work. I wish I would have gotten the Apple TV unit. -- All is all the people at Roku are nice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Got this for Christmas and it was a great purchase. Our family has a Roku HD and this one is even better!

A fine product, very useful. Much better than what U-Verse offers. But, needs some user info. We bought the third level device, but the second level would have been fine.

The only problem I've had was short battery life in the remote, however when I unplugged the headphones when not in use, the problem went away.

Good way to catch up on missed TV Episodes

The set up is Not That User Friendly, ( In My Opinion) I had to make phone calls to Roku for verbal instructions on how to set up. While the Instructions and Directions are well written, In my opinion, there are some gaps, explanation wise, in the setup that are not explained well. However, I am now well satisfied with the programming features in Roku, and I have recommended Roku to some of my Friends, and they Have purchased the Roku Product.

I've had my Roku 3 for 7 months now. I love it and use it daily. My only regret is that I didn't buy a Roku sooner.
