Caused trouble with other devices

Bought in May and soon afterward our laptops sarted losing connection with our WiFi on a regular basis, and sometimes could not reconnect for long periods. Roku 3 sets itself up on WiFi as a connection point of some sort (in other words, it broadcasts itself to other devices in the vicinity), and there is no way to turn it off. Don't know how or why it interfered with our other wireless connections, but when we removed it we stopped having connnection problems. Am just now getting around to trying to send it back and exchange for a Roku 2 (we already have one and it's been great) - was gone so much of the summer that I didn't get around to it, so this will also be a good test for how user-friendly their customer service is.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls
Cons: Poor Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this as a christmas gift and have never been quite so disappointed in a hyped up gadget as this one. I loved the whole idea of it but the free channels of full of repetitive ads. Sometimes the same ad will repeat 3-5 times. Most of the channels are in fact not free. The ones that are either have old content or poor content. One very promising channel that I was so excited about has only 3 min trailer clips of the movies.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very User Friendly!

This product was excellent for my home theatre, as I was about to kick back on my couch and select from an array of video stream providers. With the headphones, I could privately watch shows without disturbing my family at night!
Pros: Compact, Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture, Easy to use
Cons: Need fast internet service

Had youtube through a private channel, only to have channel taken away. Roku needs to resolve the issues with youtube, so all users can enjoy their box even more.

I have purchased about 4 different roku boxes, This Roku 3 by far is the best I've seen, I'm excited to see what they keep coming out with, motion controller is neat expect my daughter she loves playing Angry Birds, I have a Netflix, Amazon Primer and a Hulu account works great can see anything I'd wanna see anyways.

This little box has sooo much more content, so many, & more options with the best in class, superb HD. You must see this in action, this device is so much better, with so much more content available for streaming, that it makes all the other devices look sad!

Can't go wrong with a Roku

I have a 4 year old Roku that is in a room without satellite and went looking for another for the living room. Brought home a Google TV just to try something different. After hours on the phone with tech support I couldn't get it setup properly with my internet provider. Brought it back and got the Roku 3. Setup couldn't be easier and neither of the Roku's have ever froze on us. They always work flawlessly. It is a simple, working, reliable, interface. This new one is a little bit different on the screen menu's. Games work pretty good, though I'm not a gamer. We only have satellite in 2 rooms and the Roku with Netflix lets us watch TV anywhere. LOVE ROKU.

I had a bad experience. It didnt work when I first got it. It wouldnt conect with my wifi. After buying a new router it worked for about 3 months. Not that great may I add. It kept reloading itself. Very annoying. Now it doent work at all.
