I have had it about a month a lot of fun. Sometimes the unit sticks have to mess with it otherwise good.

We were streaming Netflix through our old Wii console. We upgraded to the Roku and are sooooo happy that we did! We love the selection of built in channels and the FAST streaming. It was definitely money well spent! I was so excited about it that I went out and bought one for my brother and sister in law for Christmas!

I have been very happy with my Roku. We have had an Apple TV for a few years, and it was nice at the time, but the Roku has so many more channels available, and the picture quality is excellent. Highly recommend!

Easy Operation

Love the Roku! We use it almost every day. The Sling application works better than using Air Play with our Apple TV. The picture appears to play more smoothly with the Roku.

Far less than hype

The controller has a cheap plastic feel. The component that plugs into the hdmi slot on the television has to be forced and slightly bent because of the indentation area of the television itself. Most of the channels have obnoxious frequent advertisements unless you pay that in turn leads to more and more user ID names and passwords. The content of most channels is junk or trash for the mindless or future mindless from watching it.

Player great - remote, not so much.

I have 4 Rokus and all are good units. The Roku 3 is the best but the remote has not been great. Eats batteries and finally stopped working. Roku replaced it free though. I think if you could turn motion sense off, it would use a lot less power.
