Better than Apple tv!

I have an Apple TV in my living room and a Roku in my bedroom. The Apple TV is not bad but the Roku 3 is more user friendly and has so much content. Apple TV is good for Netflix and maybe HBO go but if you want to use Amazon prime or hundreds of other channels Roku 3 is the best choice

Roku needs new technology

In order for Roku to work properly (in my opinion), the Roku box needs to be able to search, browse and switch channels and shows as quickly and efficiently as broadcast TV. Roku also need to add some or more buffering functionality, so we don't have to spend so much time with the loading icons. Roku probably works fine on high speed internet on fiber optic lines or cable but most of us are not lucky enough to have that infrastructure. And those of us that don't have it, are most likely to be Roku customers.

Roku 3 even better

I enjoyed my Roku 2 for a long time. When I saw the features on the Roku 3 I had to upgrade. Roku 3 is great. Roku is a solid product that keeps getting better.

Most excellent Streaming Device!

This is my 3rd Roku 3 ( I also have 2 Roku sticks) and I find that there is no better streaming device than Roku. The Roku 3 quality, fine design, flawless performance, vast channel store, simple setup, wireless headphone option, all in all THE device to have.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Streaming Player

I bought a Roku because my old computer doesnt stream Netflix and Hulu well.
Great unit. Excellent quality HD video.
I would have give it 5 stars across the board except for a few things when it comes to the Netflix/Hulu interface.
1- Some content that shows up on my Computer doesnt show up on the Roku. I have to go to the computer and put them in queue
2- Search is terrible. Cant search by genre/rating. etc.
3- Cant read other peoples reviews. Cant write a review.

I like it. It's a great device! Purchasers should know, thouigh, that if they choose to use the earphones with the remote, it will drain the remote battery at an alarming rate.

My Roku 3, i got in des 2013 is stuck dansing Roku, so im not happy with my roku.
But when it works its osum
99% usage is plex app
