Very simple to use!

Wow! The Roku 3 combines everything i could possibly want to watch into the simplest format I have ever had. I basically use 1 button on the remote and an arrow key. I do wish it had a more in-depth search capability.

Easy to set up and get started

I did some research and found that the Roku 3 was the one that seemed to have the best reviews and press. It is very easy to set up and start viewing. My only complaint is that when creating an on-line account to turn on the box they wanted credit card information. I talked to their techs via chat and was able to use an alternate method to create an account without a credit card. If you plan on purchasing movies or other content then go ahead and give them your card information. I've only played with it a little but so far I'm impressed. I would highly recommend this box.

Well designed, easy interface

This model has it all over its competition. Better menus, customization, ease of use. There were many frustrating usability problems with the old model I used. Roku3 has better ways of viewing netflix, fast forward features that annoying multiple clicking, rearranging features, more valuable services. Glad I switched.

A great little streamer!

I bought my roku 3 about 6 months ago, its an addition to the other 3 in the house. This should tell you a lot, we have one in every room in the house. I prefer the 3 for two simple reason the continous play when watching episodes, no need to hit play and the USB slot where you can insert movies, photos and music. You cant go wrong with Roku, in my opinion these are the best streaming device. Customer service is ok. They do follow up to make sure all problems are resolved.

Decided to get rid of DirectTV and have found this to be a good alternative. Streams well, very few issues. Easy to set up. Miss some of my regular shows but I need to watch less tv anyway.

Roku brings nothing to the table but a simple setup and a locked down app-lacking box. The only thing that makes it half-way usable is the Plex app. Without Plex all you have is a million religious channels and Netflix, which my blueray player, tv, xbox, and even the wii can do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
