I've tried other streaming/casting products - this one is the best. Great selection, awesome remote that doesn't need to be aimed at the TV, meta-search that will search for a movie among ALL your subscription services. Future of TV

I have had several problems with the device. It needs to be rebooted daily. Last night trying to watch NHL Center Ice which is an expensive subscription, the device ceased working and threw me back out to the main screen. It did this several times, and also claimed I didn't have access to Center Ice when I tried to get back in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a fantastic buy. The interface is quick we've had streaming tribulations with all our computer devices before but the roku cruises. Quality of picture and choice of programme is stellar.

I'm so happy with my Roku 3. The wifi connection is perfect. It is located on a different floor and opposite side of the house from my router, yet you'd think it was sitting right beside it. It's fast and seamless. Streaming from my PC works great through Plex. I primarily bought it to stream videos from my PC for my son, but the channel selection is excellent as well. I initially bought a Sony "Smart" DVD player and the streaming was atrocious. It took forever to load content. I returned that and bought the Roku 3. What a difference! It's hard to believe such a small box can do everything it's supposed to do, and do it all extremely well. I highly recommend this product.

Roku makes watching TV possible with a good variety of choices. This makes watching TV less boring, and not having to pay a lot for watching TV possible. Thank you, Roku rocks!
