Better Than Cable!

This is my second ROKU 3 - it replaces a ROKU XS (which we loved)
We stream a LOT of videos and movies, because we do not have access to cable in the rural area, ROKU is perfect for us! We like the fact that it is a one time purchase, and our channel options are seemingly limitless! We get all the TV we wan and could ever watch, without paying monthly fees for a lot of channels we do not need!

Lots of Channels, Easy to Use

I've used my Roku 3 for about a month. Since my internet router had only one LAN port I had to buy a switch for it to set up the roku, but once set up the Roku is easy to use - I use it mainly for Netflix and Pandora but once you get the hang of searching for various channels you can find all sorts - from old sci fi TV to craft channels , many of them free. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that if your internet router is older, with no wi fi and only one port, you will have to get an upgrade or an attachment just to set up the Roku.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thi is my 2nd Roku - one in the bedroom and one in the Den. I love all of the options, and soon, goodbye cable.

I like the added channels but I'm having issues

The clock won't work on our roku. we've set it manually but it shows up wrong. I also don't like the they've removed the clock from the home screen. I like the added channels tho. esp youtube.

I liked the first Roku3 so much that I got another one for my upstairs TV.
I have a Samsung "Smart TV" and the roku works so much easier and better.

My smart Panasonic tv software was greatly lacking. I bought
The Roku 3 and I am very pleased. It loads much faster and it eliminated the buffering problems I was having. It keeps my Netflix and Amazom up to date a and I have a lot more choices too. Very pleased with no problems after a couple of months. I have recommended the Rocku 3 to a some of my friends.
