conquered the wifi issues with cable

Recently changed to cable and could not stream because the cable modem's wifi was so terrible. Roku solved the issue.

I wanted to stream recorded video live HD TV using the DLNA app. Might get another Xbox 360 for media extender if this doesn't work well enough. Also wanted to stream music to a stereo from DLNA NAS. It doesn't work too well since the audio output is in the remote - which eats a lot of batteries. The commercials on Hulu Plus are terrible. I'd have to say worse than cable TV. Why would anyone pay to watch that?

I'm out in Boston, and my cable provider is not on Roku3 causing me unable to add HBO,ShowTime, and etc

Bought a refurbished Roku 3 from woot. Hooked it up and no problems. Response from remote and internet is super fast. Very happy with this purchase

I bought it about 2 months ago and I really enjoy it. So many things to do and watch with it. I can even mirror my tablet into and have more options and more apps to play with.
