Two Rokus, one account, who'd have thought?

The Roku 3 is a great streamer. Easy to set up. This is our second, For the bedroom. My wife doesn't like having all the channels we have on the TV room Roku. I deleted all but three channels on the new Roku. Then the surprise. The channels were also deleted the channels on the TV room Roku. Not a welcome surprise. I'm sure we'll straighten out one day.

Super fast startup

I have several Rokus, but wanted to replace my dvd player which had access to Netflix, etc. because it was old and slow. The Roku 3 is so fast it is almost instantaneous. I will buy another one to put in the bedroom because of the headphone feature. My wife has to go to sleep before I do so I will be able to stay in bed and watch tv until I am ready to sleep.

I purchased this for a room that does not get cable; I am so pleased with my choice. It is an excellent device, great features and Easy to use.

Hands Down The Best Streaming Devise

Forget Apple TV, Roku streams everything from Netflix, Amazon, Google Play, Vudu and hundreds more, something Apple TV can't do. New channels are added regularly and Roku streams them all in full 1080p beautifully. The USB Media player could use improvements but that option is just a bonus to the devise and not it's main selling point. As a streaming player Roku is without a doubt THE best out there.

The Roku 3 - Yet another excellent Roku device!

This review is actually regarding my purchase of TWO Roku 3 devices. :) Our family purchased our first Roku close to 5 years ago and it provided us many hours of entertainment. No complaints there. Recently though my wife mentioned she would be interested in obtaining a Roku 3 for herself so that she could watch some of the newer channels not supported on the old (original model) Roku. I bought her one and she immediately loved it. The newer technology made for a faster, nicer interaction with the device. Works just as good as the old one, but better. I took the old Roku for myself, but it was not long before I was considering a Roku 3 too. So I went out and got myself a Roku 3 and have thoroughly enjoyed it as well.
Since we were already long time users of Roku, we had no reservations about stepping up to the Roku 3.

I am also a big time Apple user and respect what AppleTV can do well (AirPlay), but in weighing my choices of streaming devices, I had to go with factors such as ease of use, speed and the ability to customize the device with tons of channels/apps. I have not been disappointed with any of my Roku device purchases and would recommend them to others.

It was extremely easy to set up and use. Finding all of the content is a bit confusing, and navigation between content could be simplified. Don't expect a lot of free sites, since most requires signing up with fees.

I wanted to get this to reolace my Xbox for Netflix and wee network. It works better than the Xbox! Super easy to use and fast start up

Great inexpensive product

The only reason I do not give a 5 star rating is that sometimes(not often) my roku player will slow down,lockup, or have search problems. This is usually fixed by turning the power off and on.I love movies and I love all the good movies i get on Roku. So much that I dropped my satellite tv. I have had my player for about 4 years and it has paid for itself in no time. I gave a player as a Christmas gift and the people love it.
