I have had my Roku about a month and am very pleased with it. I don't watch a lot of regular tv and with Roku I can have what I want without the extra clutter.

It's great except have to had to replace batteries in a couple weeks. Guess the fact it has no off button bothers me. The volume button works some of the time. Like that I can use my iPad to explore what is available.

Roku3 To the rescue !!

Recuperating from a horrible car accident and housebound, i ordered a Roku3 after a carefully researched purcuase. I quickly unboxed the unit and had it up and running in no time. Within a matter of minute's i was immersed in the world of streaming media. My Amazon Prime Instant Video came alive like never before. I then visited the channel store and the awesome selection of free selections seemed to go on forever. I chose quality interconnect cables and wires to incorporate with my DISH Network and i'm now almost exclusively watching my Roku3 while all my Dish channels go unwatched. I love this small and unobtrusive Roku3 box, easy to operate remote and the programming selection is unsurpassed. The Roku3 is an irreplacable part of my home theatre now and forever more.

I decided to get this when I moved; instead of cable. I love it. I have Netflix, so there is plenty to watch. There is a much larger selection of free channels than most people I talked to made it seem. I even love having the headphones!

I'm glad I brought it. you can pick what you want to watch. with cable you have to wait til night to see good movies.and had might be 2 at the most..with roku many movies,morning,noon,night.anytime!

My Roku3 was definitely worth the cost, and it's very easy to use. I'm a die-hard Apple fan, and I prefer my Roku3 over my AppleTV.

Excellent alternative vs cable tv

Bought this machine since I was having troubles streaming down Netflix through the dvd machine. The connectivity with the WiFi of the house was easy and fast. The channels work perfectly. It has so many channels that I don't even buy any more dvds or watch regular tv. The screen saver with my pictures from Facebook is a plus.
