So easy to set up

After buying a different brand, and returning it after having compatibility problems, we purchased the Roku. Out of the box and functioning perfectly in a matter of minutes. We are watching the movies we want without the nagging of commercials every 4 minutes.

I really enjoy being able to search for movies/ shows with limited or no commercials! Finding great movies with favorite actors I never knew existed!

Awesome Video Streamer

Awesome for streaming video to the TV. Freezes sometimes and thats annoying but got better when I found out how to restart the box with the remote. Hint, its home x5, up, rew x2, ff x2. Like a cheat code. Wish there was a channel that showed jeopardy. Ideally would like to watch local antenna channels through this.

harder to work than we thought

we really wanted cartoon network and thought we might find some way to get it, but didn't. it's kind of slow too, not sure if that is our internet connection or what, which we recently upgraded. the control is hard to work with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
