I have had the Roku 3 about a month now. It is so much better than On Demand through cable and satellite channels.

from the get go this device was a problem. first the batteries for the remote were no good, so we got that working....then NOTHING would sync with the Roku. Not Hulu, not Prime, not Netflix....and who needs to go into a thousand different spots to find a show. I am the last person to recommend cable, but at least you have ONE comprehensive list of shows.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a Great product. I had never heard of before; I am not very good with tech, but I got one and I am very glad I did. The picture is great and there is so much connected with these things. I could get rid of cable but know I won't. Either way, these things are great and anyone with a cable problem should check them out. It was easy to setup and not really expensive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a little slow

I was frustrated when I bought the Roku 2 because it didn't support switching profiles on NetFlix. Now that I have the Roku 3, I can switch profiles but there's a BIG problems with the sound. We've tried restarting it, plugging it in to the ethernet cable... Don't really know what to do. The video is ALWAYS a couple seconds ahead of the audio. It looks good, it sounds good it just doesn't all happen at the same time
