I bought this a month ago and I am still not sure I am using it correctly. I have hulu plus which I use, but all my roku searches seem to cost money, so I'm not using it. I thought I should get TV for free, just a day later. But everything costs money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So easy to setup. The picture quality is fantastic and the number of available channels is more than anyone could want. No problem with battery life for the remote. Great product. Get one you will not be disappointed.

Saved me Hours

My father in law likes to watch religious programs, I had installed a Glory Star dish at his home- his receiver for the satellite quit working so I spent the money to buy a new unit - when I installed the new receiver it told me to realign the dish - I had spent hours trying to find G19 satellite and never found it, then my son said that I should try Roku because he had heard that they had lots of the channels that he liked to watch, I bought it and tried it at home first to make sure it would be easy for him to use and it was! I was able to set it up for him in about an hour and taught him what to do and he has been really happy having his programs back and I don't have to mess with the satellite dish - Praise the Lord!

all kinds of movie's and fun games and movies are cheap to rent..compared to dish or cable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the Roku 3 to replace my old roku that stopped working. I like the look of the new home screen. I have a problem with the fact that it gets very hot.

I have not had a lot of time to try all the features and products available but I bought it for Netflix and the Roku was easy to set up and use. Works great!

So far so good

I bought this month ago and I'm very happy with it. I purchased a roku because the jw.org channel was a dedicated channel on the device. I also have the Apple TV and I find myself using the roku over the Apple TV because is easier for my kids to use and we can loop the Caleb and Sophia videos without having to airstream them from my macbook. It does lag more than my apple TV and we have to reset it more frequently, but the ease of use makes up for the lagging because of the younger children's ability to use it. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and would make it again. In fact I plan to to purchase one for my parents in the near further. :)
