Abvsolute worst waste of money I have fo

I was excited when I first ordered the device. I couldn't wait until it arrived. I hooked everything up and it was perfect for about 2 days. It started transmitting a buzzing through the speakers and had flickering lines when it wasn't causing the screen to go black periodicaly. I have changed HDMI cables from devices that work perfectly and nothing fixes the problem. It is so unbearable I had to disconnect it. This is the worst waste of my money I have ever been stuck with.
Pros: Fast Setup
Cons: Poor Video And Sound
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased our Roku in hopes of being able to eliminate Dish. However, that is not the case. I found the channels to be lacking. I will say movies were streamed quickly and more efficiently than our Blue Ray does. We took ours back to the store. It was not what we were looking for.

Definitely good choice

I bought my first Roku about a month ago and hooked it up to the TV in my living room. Two weeks later, I bought another one for the TV in the bedroom. It is wonderful. I watch mostly Christian channels on TV, and instead of 7 channels with DirecTV, I now have probably 75 or 80 choices. I cancelled my satellite subscription, but I do now have a very basic cable package. I believe that the Roku 3 is a better choice than the others. It seems to be a little faster, and there are other features (headphone plug-in, and additional ports) that make it worth the extra money. Remember, it's a one time investment.....not a monthly recurring fee.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unit is great. My family and I use it in our living room and couldn't be happier. So much so that we are looking at getting more to put in our other rooms. This is really going to be the downturn of cable TV. It is very smooth and reliable with great selections of entertainment both video, music and games.
Pros: Great value, Built in Wi-Fi, Reliability, Compact, High quality picture, Video selection, Easy to set up, Easy to use

The Roku3 could be so much better, if you only included a web browser with it. Also, why can't you include the ability to view YouTube on the Roku3. I'm at a point where I must seriously consider switching to another type of unit

I ordered Roku on a Thursday and received it on the following Monday. It was very easy to setup. I already have a Netflix and HuluPlus so I was able to start streaming immediately! The BEST thing I have ever purchased! I have Comcast internet which isn't the fastest but it's fast enough for Roku. Prior to Roku I streamed through my Blue Ray player and for some reason the signal was always weak. No problems with Roku.
Pros: Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup, Attractive Design
