We love the features it provides. We are happy to cut of subscription to satellite and cable tv.
Our only loss is the ability to watch at least local channels live, otherwise everything else is wonderful

The Need to Make My TV Smart

I bought this product so I could access Netflix. The remote seems limited as well as the information about it. I have not found a way to do a search for a particular movie while in Netflix other than scrolling through title after title.

There is no programming that I can receive with ROKU that I can not get with my (internet connected) laptop hooked up to my TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use streamer

I have had my Roku 3 for a couple of months. It flawlessly streams Netflix movies in HD quality. I got the Roku as a first step to cutting the cable but I don't know if there is enough live content to make the leap.

Happy with the Roku 3 so far, one thing i noticed is that when using the Roku 3 the tv screen loses brightness i haven't been able to figure out why is that, but other than that all is good.
I would recommend this to a friend!
