I am still learning some of my roku features and how it works, but so far it seems to be okay. i do have some issues when watching i am in middle of the picture i seem to get a lot of interference , this has happen quite a few times that ca be a problem. But iam trying to give it some more time before i give it a revue.

i am so glad i bought 3 of those little devices and cut the cord with directv ,i am getting great entertainment and saving money.

If you don't have a smart TV

This was a great purchase to turn my tv into a smart tv. Some channels run slower like crackle for comedians in cars getting coffee but still worth it.

Bought this about a month ago it was very easy to set up and navigate doesn't freeze and lots of apps and games that my kids love to. So much better and cheaper than cable.

I purchased my Roku 3 about a month ago and could not be more pleased with it. This little player is super user friendly and takes no time in getting used to. The channel store has just about anything you are looking for. The Roku team really does take their products and updates seriously! My one and only, seriously the only, complaint would be that the hdmi cord is not included. Lucky for me I had a spare laying around but I still was in aware that the hdmi cord was not sold with the set. This streaming player helped me cut the cord to cable and I could not be more happy!

Like it while it worked

We really liked the Roku 3. Functionally it was better than our Roku 2XS.
The problem is that we had to do a hard reset a couple times because the unit locked up and just recently the unit died completely. No lights or anything. Thinking it was the power pack that died, we tried a different one with no success. This was after only about a year of light use (2 hours per night).
Overall we like the units but question the build quality.

Who needs cable!

A couple of years ago I dropped cable, except for broadband. I was sick of paying a high price for what seemed like endless advertising, channels I would never watch, and venues geared for 12 year olds. I don't watch much, but when I did I could only watch Netflix and movies through my blu-ray player. That was about it. This year I bought my Roku and discovered a whole spectrum of streaming video that I had no idea existed. At a small fraction of what I had to pay with cable, I can watch what I want, when I want, and with no commercials. This is the way of the future, and I like what I see so far.
