Great purchase, but..

I love the Roku 3. Especially because it has YouTube. I don't use my Roku everyday. There are times I will go a week without using it, and only thing that I do not like is the this one shuts off and does not come back on if I don't use it. I have to unplug it, then plug it back it to get it to come on. I may have just gotten a faulty one, but I have two other older Roku's and neither of those shut off at all. They are always on and ready to use when I turn on the TV. Oh well, I still like it!

netflix ui is awful

Roku is great. The Netflix ui is just terrible. It is easier to find things on the web, then cast to a chromecast.

Great Product with a Balky IR Sensor

This is my third Roku 3. The interface is reliable and easy to use. The first two work so well I decided to buy a third. I generally use a Harmony remote to control all of these. The first two accept commands from the remotes from just about any angle but the new one wants the remote pointed straight at the Roku to work, and it won't accept input if you're off to the right of the box very far at all. Maybe Roku made a change in the design. If so, it wasn't an improvement. The first two get a 5-star rating. This one gets about 3.5.

AMAZING DEVICE!!!!

We purchased one a few months ago after we decided to cut the cable. Me and my brothers absolutely love it!! We use it everyday..we watch more TV now than we ever did with cable. Netflix, vudo, Huluplus, etc. Between this and my cromecast, TV is soooo much better now! Drop the cable and get yourself a ROKO!

I am hearing impaired, and with the Roku 3 I can use the ear buds I am getting much more enjoyment out of everything I watch. I bought two, one for each of our TVs. Well worth the money.
