Excessive buffering

Still getting a lot of buffering-we use optimum online and have upgraded to their next highest internet speed but doesn't seem to help much. Optimum is supposed to swap out their router for a newer one--we shall see--router is hard wired to Roku

From no streaming to streaming in 30 minutes or less , packed with features and the headset remote logic is one of a kind.

When I first used it, it froze. I rebooted it and have now used it for about 3 weeks and it has worked flawlessly .

Nice streamer, but requires credit card.

I bought this device to watch the free JW.org channel. It plays the video well. It is easy to use. I did not like that it REQUIRED a credit card to use, even if I had no intention of purchasing anything. So I returned it, and got a Chromecast stick, which does not ask for a credit card.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Streamer...Except for a couple items

Our family is enjoying the Roku 3 a lot. Simple to use. However we have lost two units: One failure caused by power surge; The other fails to communicate with the network after multiple resets and reconfigurations. The other concern is related to the Program / movie info, the test is often small for the visually impaired.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Finally! Easy View For You Tube and Others!

I bought this Roku 3 to use with a new TV that I have installed in my bedroom. I like to watch TV and use my Laptop at the same time. The Roku gives me great access to so much viewing by television rather than the computer. My eyes are not as good as they used to be, so the large display of many, many videos is a great experience to me. I have already bought another for the Den! After my research of the roku and current HDTV models I decided that the Roku component would be the "smart" part of my new television. The speed of the Roku 3 processor is far in excess of the weak processors installed in most "smart" tv's. My computer guru also advised me to take that approach, and I am very glad I did.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought our Roku 3 about 1 month ago. Setup was so easy and we are very happy with the selection of shows & movies. Our only regret is we can't watch Fox News Live!
