Easy setup, great TV

We use the Rouk 3 to access lots of great content on Acorn TV and Netflix. We can get our required dose of British programming on Acorn and interesting series on Netflix. Only get premium cable channels when offered for free by our supplier.

It is a time consuming typing my information in every single channel, as well as logging in my computer to set every channel. It's really annoying.

Bye Bye Expensive Cable, Hello Roku!

I bough Roku 3 about a month ago because I was fed up with the expensive cable bundles with channels that I don't even watch, but I was forced to pay by the cable company and their "promotional bundles". I like the Roku, I have to get used to it, it is a big change form cable TV, but so far , so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Most channels require fee, sound is either funky low or distorted with background fuzz, and too many clips, rather than shows. Who watches clips only?? Support is good, effective, when you get through, but need support too often. Would a manual, even online, kill ya? Also, if I start a NetFlix movie but decide not to finish it, it's IMPOSSIBLE to close it and pick a new one. Setup was easy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love it. I actually bought it for myself, but I have a spare bedroom that I use for my grandkids when they come over, because I didn't want to pay for an additional cable box. I'm thinking about getting a cheaper version of the roku and getting mine back!
