Best decision we made for watching television

We started with one Roku3, then bought another for our other TV. Sports on one, PBS on the other. We are very happy with the ease to watch what we like when we want to. Our schedules require this flexibility and our Roku3's give it to us. Great product and channel selections!

It's very easy to watch TV using Roku 3. Great choices like Netflix, JW Broadcast... Got rid of my cable subscription and saved a lot of money.

Great Product - but... remote needs a backlight.

Love Roku... but the hand held remote could use a back light so you can see what you are doing in the dark...

I bought this along with a new TV. Previously, I would use a PC to stream shows to the TV, but this is a quantum leap improvement over that. The interface and the easy switching between Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. is the killer combo.
I love the ability to use earphones straight from the remote when watching TV after others have gone to bed - no muting or setting AV inputs, it just works. The one negative I have is that if I leave the headphones plugged into the remote, the batteries will be dead by morning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was very simple to hook up and is easy to use. I wish it had an on/off switch but I guess I'm just old fashioned. We are enjoying watching old movies and Christian programming. Look forward to suing it much these long winter months!

Very pleased to have purchased the Roku 3, the only downside for me are the in-app menus (Netflix in particular). In each app you can scroll through different categories, but you are unable to select a genre "e.g. Documentaries" and get a more expansive listing as in the AppleTV. You are basically bound by the categories listed, which is fine if you know the name of what you want to watch, but it severely limits the ability to explore and browse what is available.
