Getting better all the time

For $16/month I get Netflix and HuluPlus which give me nearly everything I was getting with basic cable for $70/month. Plus tons of news, sports and music channels for free and they are constantly adding more content. If you are tired of cable and satellite companies raising their prices all the time and forcing you to bundle and pay for channels you don't ever watch, then you should consider this alternative.

Nice device. The wireless remote is a nice feature, along with ability to hard-wire the internet connection. Finding affordable live sports is still a challenge but otherwise, no complaints!

We received Roku as a gift. We had to have help to connect to our WiFi. But now every thing is fine and we have no trouble using it. It is very easy.

We have used the Roku 3 for two viewing sessions, and am very happy with it. It streamed Amazon Prime with no problems, something our DVD player can not do. I found the controller a little clunky, but too hard to operate. And an on/off switch would be nice.

Roku 3 turned my TV into a smart TV

I love how easy the Roku 3 was to set up. The WiFi works much better with the Roku 3 than other devices I had tried. Rarely lose the signal and if it does it reconnects in seconds. Being able to connect headphones to the remote is great for late at night so others aren't woken up.

Did not work for me, do your research to see what it is provided with your cable company. It is not advertisement free, FYI.

We are exclusively using Roku, now... we ended of 10+ years of service with DirecTv. We love it. Hubby misses cop shows, but we are sort of finding them. My favorite is the lack of long winded commercials.
