Very happy with our Roku 3. It is faster and easier to use that our new Sony Smart TV and faster than our Sony Blu Ray Player. For Nextflix, it is fast, the HD is very good and the sound is great through our Yamaha sound system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Equipment

I have never purchased any streaming device and the Roku 3 which I purchased and set-up works great it is so easy to connect via hdmi to your television. I am still learning how to move around, however, the roku 3 was rated better then the apple tv streaming unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great picture quality, loads of channels

I've tried many streaming solutions (Smart TV, VIzio Co-star, WD, Boxee) and this is by far the best...loads of channels, high quality picture, etc. Two downsides for me: Browser doesn't work very well, and the supported NAS formats is very limited (forcing me to continue to use my Co-Star which does these things well)

I purchased the Roku 3 after reading all of the reviews. I am happy to confirm that they were right! It is very easy to install and operate. It streams movies to my tv with great picture and sound quality. It performs exactly as I was hoping.

I bought it because by blue ray player made me unhappy while streaming Netflix, Roku rocks, Netflix comes up extremely fast and has never stalled. I am impressed' I play Angry Birds a little and have not been on You Tube yet and won't go anywhere near Facebook.

I became a roku believer about 3 years ago. I purchased my 1st device & have not looked back since. I rarely watch cable tv anymore as internet tv has so much more to offer. the creators of roku have gotten it right. so easy to set up & use. saves you money from day one. new channels are being added continuously & best of all you choose your channels & change them whenever you want. this is the best set top device available.

Poor quality output headphones

The roku 3 provides high quality video and audio as long as you have outstanding Internet service. The reason for 3 stars vs 5 stars poor sound quality using the headphones with the remote control providing broken and skipping audio from a show.
