Very easy to get set up and going, even for a +55er ! So much to choose from old and new, when I want and not when some cable TV company or major networks want to let me see it. Highly recommend you try out Roku and enjoy the adventures of watching your TV again !

I have a smart TV but I knew I was missing out and boy was I. The YouTube app is worth the price of the Roku alone.

Great product have prime and more than I can watch. Got it to use with antenna tv. Cut cable. Amazing selection.

Nice. But expected more

I have had it roughly a month. It's nice. The menu speed is actually faster then my ps3 by a significant sum. And the app is nice. Allows me to Control it with ease. Only problems I have are the batteries in the remote die very quickly. Like stupidly fast. The USB reader won't allow you to play many videos. And the even watching hulu or Netflix the screen with sometimes say unauthorized content. And i have to change screen resolution back and forth to fix it. Only takes a minute but it's darned annoying.

NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR CABLE TV

Was hoping to get my cable costs under control. Thought I would have access to all my favorite shows - including watching FOX news in it's entirety - maybe several hours after it had already played. What you get are small clips from the news shows - not the entire show. While ROKU might be a good product to have it you like to watch movies, it was definitely not what I thought it was. Joined Amazon Prime and found that movie and show selections were quite limited. The standard ROKU programming was not sufficient and additional shows were an additional expense.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Roku - who knew!!

Our friends who are more technically knowledgeable than we are have had an earlier version of Roku for quite a while. I had never heard of the device until we were informed that a program that is available via the internet, could be viewed on our large screen tv. Our new Roku was not difficult to set up and use. We are very pleased with it, and also the variety of programs available through the device.

Wonderful Shows YOU Chose to Watch!

I bought this a few weeks ago hoping I did not error. And it was wonderful. Item: I can watch as many or as few as I want in shows. Item: if I miss a part I can go back and catch it or pause it - DON'T need a DVR. Item: NO SPORTS..cable all I had was sports
