We had specific streaming video we wanted to be able to watch on our tv. This Roku performs really well. We are very pleased, and recently purchased one as a gift for a family member.

Easy to use and set up

I bought the Roku about two months ago. As the product instructions said, it's very easy to set up and use, nothing fancy, just basic connection and you are there, using it!

Some good, some bad

I have owned this or a couple of months now. It loads fast, and has many different channel options. It does however freeze up often. Sometimes it blacks out, sometimes the audio quits working, sometimes the remote quits. Power cycling solves these issues. I think it needs a power button, to the unit will quit locking up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
