Nice UI, a bit tempermental

Its a lovely device, easy to use, easy to set up, and definitely feature rich, but occasionally apps will not load properly and it freezes quite a bit. Not in a terribly notucable way though.

I bought this a month ago to watch JW broadcasting. It is a blessing to have this channel. The Roku streams well. I love the headphones that come with the remote, and the motion sensor for games works well too. I have recommended this product to several friends.

I love the Roku 3. We have had it for about 2 months and it is extremely fast pulling up menus and movies. We have not had one instance of lost connectivity. It plays Netflix and Amazon Prime which is key for us. The kids love the Angry Birds game that comes with it.

Great features & easy to use

I've had my Roku3 for just a month & I really am enjoying it.
Before I used my Blu-ray player to access Netflix. Now I use my Roku! It's WAY faster & much easier to use. I bought the Roku because my church (JW.org) chose Roku for their new streaming site. It's been a great addition to my video set-up, such as it is.

Beats Chromecast and early versions of roku

I tried a Chromecast and hated the clunky interface as well as the need for a laptop/tablet/phone for streaming. All that just chewed up wifi bandwidth. I sold the chromecast online and got the Roku 3.
The Roku 3 downloads faster than earlier models, has great sound via headphones and is very easy to use, and the search function is awesome. It's the best streaming product out there.

I bought my Roku because streaming through my Sony blu-ray was so slow. Set up with the Roku was a breeze and now our streaming is so much faster. I love it!!

ROKU - the best thing since sex

OK - sex is lots better but ROKU really is great. I have a ROKU in all 4 bedrooms, my living room & my den. Most are the series 2 XS & the new series 3 is faster & I like the "auto start" of next shows in series. I find the earbuds uncomfortable so use larger earphones (shortens battery life) but when my wife is gabbing on the phone - very handy. I really like the radio controlled remote more than the line of sight infrared. Now if only they would make a universal remote for TV.
