Had my Roku since they first came out and have upgraded three times to the Roku 3 and it's great. Lots of channel choices and they continue adding more regularly.

I got a Roku 3 for my birthday, and it has been the coolest gift ever. I wanted a reliable, affordable way to stream videos that I had taken with my phone to my television. The Roku makes this process very easy, and it looks great. I typically use the Plex app to do this. I actually haven't tried the Roku app yet, which apparently also enables streaming from a phone or computer, but I am eager to do so.
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the universal search function. You can search for any movie/tv show or entertainer's name, and the Roku will tell you which of the many channels are showing what you searched for. From there, it is really easy to select something to watch. If you have Netflix or Amazon Prime or Hulu Plus, there is always something to watch, usually for no additional cost.
Tl;dr: Roku 3 is an easy-to-use, fast, reliable, and super fun way to stream from services you already have (Netflix, Hulu, etc) and to stream personal videos from your phone, tablet, or computer. I love it!

Great features, sleek and simple

I really love my Roku 3. I don't like having things visible, but since the remote is bluetooth and its wifi connected, I can hide it easily. I can also use my iphone as a remote which is nice. The only thing I wish we could have was the ability to screen share everything from my apple or iphone to my tv, but until then YouTube will have to do.

I have Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, Fox, and other channels. I may wear the headphones and listen to my television and movies with the remote. The sound is so clear. I love watching Action movies. I have recommended ROKU to all my family and friends. I love it!!!

We bought this device to replace our cable service. We now stream from Netflix, Amazon and Hulu Plus. We couldn't be happier. The only issue we ran into was not directly related to the Roku- our wifi service isn't strong enough for us to run the roku on wifi so we had to run Internet to it. Otherwise everything is awesome!
