Great way to watch the shows you want to view.

I bought this several months ago and use it about once a month. The unit works great but my remote control has already quit working! I could see it dying if I used it on a daily basis but that is not the case. Fortunately, you can download an app to use as a remote which works great, but having to tell everyone to download the app is slightly inconvenient since I am not going to leave my phone for others to use if I need to leave the home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Getting better, be great with a few more features

Happy with the Roku, two features that what set this apart from other similiar units, optional volume control on the roku (i have self powered speakers, its a pain going to adjust them manually), i mean there is already a volume control on the remote, it is possible through the units hdmi, as i have a atv jailbroke with this handy option. Second please make mirroring avail for ios devices!

Great unit

This is a great unit for use while traveling in our motor home. I am able to watch TV with the headphones and my wife is able to read a book without me interfering with her. The only drawback so far is a two hour battery life while using the headphones

We bought our Roku3 a little over a month ago. Took awhile to get it functioning because of location. Finally hardwired it to the router and it took off.
Extremely happy with the results, the flexibility. Had to add a Plex program to access some of our computer stored info, otherwise very easy to use. Have used every port on it, including the USB to access some recorded data, all straight forward and user friendly. Thanks!

We now have easier and more friendly access to internet programs for our t.v. Please quickly create a password protect for parents that we might manage what our children have access to.

Great option without the subscription costs

Full disclosure: I bought this using frequent flier miles because I couldn't bring myself to spend the money. I know now that I'd have felt perfectly fine spending the cash. The Roku 3 allows me to stream the WWE Network (the original purchasing reason) without the need of streaming from my phone or PC. The playback is flawless and all the other free channels are bonuses. There are many paid options that I have not looked into, nor have I played more than the free Angry Birds game that came with it, so I can't judge those. However, for the free channels alone it is well worth the cost.
