Very good product. Easy to use , I give it a four star only because the earphones loose occasionally the connection and is annoying . Otherwise easy to use

Newest awesome feature - wireless HDMI -forget cables. This works like a charm! As of this writing only works with Android and Win 8.1. Just confirms it works with Razr Maxx. Great for simulcasting youtube videos etc from your phone to your TV. Roku keeps delivering the goods.

I got this as an upgrade for my old second generation Roku 2XS and I have not been disappointed yet. It is so much faster. No more crashing and rebooting every night when using Hulu or some other apps like the 2XS did. It has more current versions of streaming apps than its predecessor models and its competitors, such as the latest Netflix and Amazon Instant Video apps. It's an all around great investment. The only problem I have with any Roku devices is the lack of keyboard or alternate remote support. Typing things out on the Roku interface such as account passwords or title searches is a real nightmare.

What I needed and more

This little box has exceeded all of my expectations. I love the huge library of channels, the options, the expandable storage, the USB port, and the headphone jack on the remote. Perfect for cord cutters and people with cable subscriptions. The smartphone app is so helpful too.

I have had my Roku for several months; I was so tired of paying tons of money for TV especially when despite hundreds channels it was so difficult to find something to watch and when you did it was riddled with ads. Setting up the Roku was very easy however I wish passwords could be entered via from my lap top computer. ( I found navigating through the on screen keyboard pretty annoying :( ) After that however, accessing channels was easy. I haven't used it yet, but I appreciated the headphone/controller unit option.
Perhaps because I was so used to turning on the TV with cable and getting immediate access to the news, it takes some getting used to accessing news and other channels and I'm stlll learning how to navigate the channels themselves. Doing the surfing is a breeze though and ads have wormed their way in especially on the news channels. There are so many Roku channels to sift through which is both a good and bad thing at the same time. I have a lot of exploring to do, but had problems finding new channels in particular that I liked. I guess Im fussy :). The quality of many channels themselves was just OK in my opinion.
In sum, the Roku itself is a wonderful device with a lot of choice and easy access to many channels. (But I'm not doing handstands about the channels themselves. I am hoping they improve over time. ) This is a great option for standard cable. and I would recommend it to anyone. I believe this is the wave of future TV.

easy and it works

My previous connection stopped working and I was paying for Netflix without access. I bought a Roku and now watch Netflix any time I want. The Roku was easy to hook up and use. I'm happy with it.
