Access to many channels.

I bought Roku 3 about a month ago. I love it!. No more sitting in front of my computer to watch Netflix.
Maneuvering through, and adding channels is cumbersome, as you must click on each character using the remote. And it is a pain to have to enter passwords for so called free channels.
Still it does what it says it does: offer access to many channels.

I bought my Roku in Feb but only started using it a couple months ago. Glad I did, it works great. I have Amazon prime so I have a great selection of shows to watch.

Very happy to buy roku 3, it streams very well without any problems. I normally use for dish world app. It does its job. However, it is not easy to use for someone who is not tech savvy. My mother who is in her mid 60 has hard time to use it.

Just what I wanted

I bought the Roku 3 about a year ago - wanted to minimize the time spent "surfing" the channels on cable and watch with a little more intention. Since we don't watch network tv with any regularity, a streaming device seemed to offer more direct access to the choices we wanted. Set up was easy and we have had no problems to date. Once in a great while it would freeze up for a minute, but just walking over to the unit, unplugging and replugging set it right in seconds. I am VERY happy we switched to this type of viewing mode.

This was my first Internet TV device. I love it. I'm already planning to buy another one for another room in my house, possibly 2 more. My goal is to have every TV in my house connected to the Roku 3. I see no reason to pay extra for a smart TV when the Roku 3 is far more superior. I did research on all Internet TV devices for a while and made the decision on the Roku 3 based on everything I read. It was a great decision.

Had the Roku 3 for a little over a month it is fantastic! We are getting rid of time warner cable and couldn't be happier with our choice. Went with the Roku 3 for Netflix and so glad we did Netflix has a huge catalog and seems to be the family's go to app for content.
