Wonderful device that delivers as advertised, making Netflix, Hulu, and a host of other viewing options available on a single platform. Roku made the transition away from Comcast painless. I expect to save over $1200/year as a result, with less commercials to boot. I rarely do reviews but in this case I truly feel like I owe it to the Roku team. Great job!

I bought 2 Roku 3's to use in identical A/V setups in my home. One for a bedroom, the other for a Family room. The Family room unit has been fantastic! No issues, works like it should. The bedroom unit is another story. Issues range from neeeding to pair the remote once a week to make it work, having to unplug or reset the Roku to get both video and audio to work etc.. It is unfortunate that Roku only provides a 90 day warranty on these units. The bedroom unit started experiencing issues just after the 90 day mark. I knew it was close and turned out to be 98 days so I was out of luck. Most electrocnics these days come with a 12 month warranty, I dont feel like Roku has very good build quality or else they would warranty them for longer than 90 days. It would be really nice if they supported .MKV without conversion as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to set up and use!

Best gift my wife has ever got me! I found it hard to watch tv with all the advertising and when we had cable I could never find shows I wanted to see. Now that we have roku I can watch movies and tv shows uninterrupted and they are the shows and movies I want to see.

I bought this last month and i am very happy with it.I have it hook up to my movie projector for movie nights.it has wonderful image it gives out n sound also.

Still the best box

I have Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV,and a Chromecast. Probably will get a Nexus Player too.. So far I enjoy the Roku 3 the most mainly because it has so much content! I also like the fact that I can play games without needing to buy a separate controller and the headphone jack on the controller is awesome too.

I don't have any complaints about the Roku. I've had family members and friends who have used Apple TV, Xbox, Playstation, Chromecast, and Google TV. I think this is the best one. It's easy to use and has so many fun channels to choose from....even karaoke channels :-) You can also set up your smart phone as a remote control.
I would recommend this to a friend!
