Great when working

I have had my Roku 3 for several months and though in the beginning hook up was easy and I was happy. Now most of the time I have problems either with streaming or I have to un-plug (kinda re-boot) the Roku to get it to function. I also am disappointed that the streaming is frequently stopping and starting. Roky says it is my provider and my provider says it is Roku.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife and I decided a while back to stop paying for cable and the Roku has made it the one of the better decisions we have made in a while. I have numerous streaming devices in my home (chromecast, boxee box, game consoles, etc.). Roku is by far the most complete streaming device I have owned. I highly recommend.

I tried most of this gadgets and roku is the more faster and great features like headphone jack in the remote control.
I dont give to it five stars for the reason a web browser app is not suported.
So far very satisfied wirh the roku3.

We have had our ROKU for a month. We are dumping cable. The choices with ROKU are practically limitless, especially for lovers of classic TV, movies and international shows. We are addicted

I PURCHASED ROKU ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND I AM SO HAPPY I DID. I WAS THINKING ABOUT HAVING CABLE TV INSTALLED IN MY NEW APT., BUT DECIDED TO TAKE A CHANCE WITH ROKU. THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS I HAVE MADE. THE NUMBER OF MOVIES AND VARIETY OF TV SHOWS IS AMAZING. THE MONEY I SAVE IS A BIG PLUS.

We bought this to avoid paying a high cable bill and still be able to watch regular shows on fox, hulu, netflix, etc. It is a good product for the money and cheaper than cable but wish more of the channels were FREE instead of having to hook up with a cable provider to watch some of the channels or SUSCRIBE to them for a separate fee as we bought the Roku trying to avoid any extra fees

Soooo much more content than my dearly departed dish! Almost have both brothers ready to pull the trigger. I can't remember when I've been this happy with a product.
