Best Roku Yet

The Roku 3 is a great little box. I recently purchased the "3", my second Roku after first purchasing the Roku XD a couple of years ago. The "3" sports the latest improvements: a cleaner, more responsive interface, and an earphone jack on the remote, which is especially welcome and useful for watching movies anytime without disturbing other family members. I also like to Roku account feature that automatically populates your newly purchased Roku with all the channels of your previous Roku's.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased the Roko 3 player after seeing my daughter's Roko player (she got the small plug-in model). I received it, and out of the box installation was quick and easy. Very happy with the Roko 3.

It works ok but youtube freezed sometimes and need to reset power. Not a whole lot good free stub, so use youtube most of times.

Great picture

I got the Roku 3 about 6 weeks ago after having the Roku 2 HD for two years. I am amazed at the improvement in the picture quality. It is also faster and buffers less which is why I got it.
One thing though, twice now, the new remote control has lost its electronic pairing to the Roku 3. I had to go online in chat mode with a technician who had me set my router differently.

Best Home Theater Device I Have Ever Owned

I have tried a few different devices and this is by far the best yet. The remote is a little small, however it is VERY responsive. The remote also has a built in option to plug headphones into it to watch TV without waking / bothering anyone. The device is small and does not horde power while running. It's also portable, so you can take it on the go to plug into any other TV with a HDMI port and a WiFi network (ie. Hotels). It's really easy to set up as well. A HUGE list of channels, some free and some subscription based, are available...so there is most definitely something for everybody.

After considering different brands as Apple, Netgear, Chrome, I decided to select Roku. Let me tell you, is magnificent and able to find many, many free channels to enjoy a different kind of programming. What enjoy the most , is the networks series that I am unable to watch on their regular schedules and able to watch it at my own pace.. Go ROKU, Go..!!!

I bought it about a month ago and it is great except for two important things. It does not have a off or on switch which means it runs continually off my DSL and I got charged extra for it. Two there needs to be a easier directory so you can find the shows your looking for that will not take a hour to find. Other than that I love it!
