Sadly, the next time I turned it on, it gave me a hdpc unauthorised content disabled and I could not get video. I researched the internet and found this to be a VERY common problem with the Roku 3, not in previous models. I called the help desk and they were very helpful, but I had to disconnect everything and reconnect everything to get it to work after only one week. I plan to take it back to the store and exchange it for a Apple TV streaming device. I have one now and have never had a problem with it. Perhaps Roku has a software problem they can correct, but right now, I do not recommend this device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have a RCA streaming box but then read about the Roku 3 and got it about a month ago. Now RCA device is in a box in closet. Love the Roku 3 and I recommend it to everyone.

OMG! Where have you being all my life. I don't know what took me so long to cut the cable cord. Now I know for sure I will never go back to cable! ROKU you are too good to be true! The high cost of cable was getting out of control, I had to do something. I recently bought my ROKU and have not regretted it for one moment. A friend of mine has been telling me about ROKU for about a year, but never really understood her, but when cable became unaffordable I knew I had to make a change. This is best thing since television. I have already recommended you to most of my friends, and of course like myself, some are sceptical, wait till they can't afford cable.With my antenna box and ROKU I am in heaven.
I donot understand how such a tiny box has such greatness, but I will not baffle my brain I will just enjoy! I was able to catch up on OITNB, everybody was talking about it, except me.
