My brother has a Roku and he was singing its praises so I did a little investigating myself. I was tired of spending so much on dish service. For the cost of my Hulu subscription, I get tons of channels including network shows. I am not a technical person and setup was easy and quick. I would recommend it to anyone especially those on a tight budget.

Received the Roku as a gift and have not fully explored all that is there.
I wanted it to watch the Glen Beck programs and it's great. So much more to investigate..... lots of free stuff and other items seem reasonably priced.

I cancelled cable and purchased the Roku3. Combined with an OTA antenna I'm able to watch almost anything I want. There is also a unique mix of private channels which make it fun to explore.
