I had been using Roku2 for a while and started using Roku3. Best streaming device I bought for Netflix, Youtube and tamil channels.

Absolutely Awesome Product!

We bought a Roku 3 for our guest bedroom so that visiting company could watch movies and play games (our grandson loves playing Angry Birds). Then we found ourselves "borrowing" it to use on the TV in the living room because it works so much better than streaming with our smart Blu-ray player. The content is much better too. We loved our Rokus so much that I bought one for my parents to watch Netflix and they love it too. Thanks Roku for a great product!

Wonderful Product

I had Apple TV for a couple of years, but it was too limited to the Apple world. I got the Roku 3 for Christmas and it exceeded all expectations. In fact, I got another one for my husband's recent birthday and I've recommended it to friends.

Great features and games however...

I've had time to experience my Roku for about 3 weeks and it is by far one of the best video streamers on the market. Video is flawless at 1080p with no buffering issues over the Internet or my home network.
The remote is special because it allows some "wii" like interactivity with games, which the kids love, and it offers a headphone jack for personal listening when the kids are too loud, which I love.
My only quibble is that the remote isn't universal and the unit doesn't have an hdmi input for my cable box so I still need to use several remotes (TV, Cables, Roku, Reciever)
Thats one of the only things I miss about my old Logic Revue.

Simplifies connection to media

I purchased the first Roku3 several months ago after experiencing slow connections to web-based media. Roku3 immediately sped up the connection and all functions including start-up/rewind/fast forward. The unit is easy to set-up and use. Be aware that most of the FREE media is worth about what you pay for it........not much! My Amazon Prime membership was the reason to upgrade to Roku3. Roku3 was such an improvement, I bought two more.
