It does everything as advertised. works great!!. However the earphones (that work great by the way) drain the remote battery very quickly so you MUST remove the earphones from the remote when not in use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I find the remote a bit cumbersome to use in registering for the different channels. Typing in all the information they require takes time, especially when they don't like some of the information and make you do it time after time. This isn't a fault of Roku, but it is cumbersome to use.

Limited free offerings

Setup is easy. The remote works well. It does not hesitate or buffer very often. If you pay for cable, hulu plus, amazon prime and or netflix you have something to watch. There are few free channels with old movies or foreign films. I bought it because I was sick of paying for the lousy shows on cable. This can be a cheaper answer to watching TV. I find myself watching youtube (free) and amazon prime for my entertainment.

I have purchased a Roku3 and a digital antenna, which has allowed me to dump Comcast. Roku is great.
