Very strong wifi

Easy to setup, and very smooth wifi signal. Much less buffering compared with my Vizio smart TV. One major issue is that it only supports 4 language, no Chinese. What I do is to store my YouTube watch lists in my YouTube account, then watch them in Roku.

Lots of variety

We bought the Roku 3 after reading good reviews about it, and we do like it. Still haven't canceled cable, but we are very close to doing that. Just need to get used to how to use the Roku as opposed to just turning on the cable box.

Very good produect, but has trouble with WiFi conn

I have a new Roku 3 feeding my office TV, it sits right next to and Apple TV streaming device. The Roku has problems keeping the WiFi signal, it drops it all the time, I must then go through the reconnect process. The Apple TV never drops the signal and has a much faster download response, I now only keep the Roku to get Amazon Prime which Apple TV does not allow. What's wrong with the Roku player?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a very simple and easy to use. It works well and does what it says, make your TV a smart TV. Lots of different programing. Anyone can set it up quickly and start watching.

Great Device

Bought this after my streaming blu-ray player went kaput and wish I had purchased sooner. It is a great little device and very easy to use. We pulled the plug on cable more than 5 years ago and it is great to see devices like Roku available. The combination of Roku and a digital antenna has made television viewing enjoyable, affordable and on our terms.

Reliable, glitch-free performance

Streaming directly to my TV with a wireless connection was the goal, and Roku 3 paired with Xfinity-provided WiFi does the trick beautifully. No complaints whatsoever.

This was my second Roku after previously owning a Roku 2 (technically I still own it, but lost the remote). I'm so glad I went with the 3. The set up couldn't be easier, and the interface and boot up process is so much faster. We loved it so much I bought a second one for the guestroom and for travel.

One small problem....

I loved my Roku 3 until I switched TV's. I now have a 2003 Mitsubishi and when I hooked up the Roku 3 there was no sound. It worked great before but now I'm told I need a converter box of some kind. The conversion is only due to the fact that I bought the Roku 3 instead of the Roku 2 which had all the plug-ins that I would have needed. I know that when this issue is resolved I'll be giving a 5 star rating as I loved it so much before on my other TV that I cancelled my cable. :) Any help would be appreciated.
