Like it alot but.......

My family and I have been using the roku for 3 months now and the only flaw that we've encountered so far is the remote. It constantly has to be reprogrammed.

Great Streaming Player but lacks Local & Live TV

I am happy with my purchase but i wish it had a option to stream local channels. Also why can't Roku 3 get CNN, FOX & MSNBC as a paid subscription on the.
Also if we could get more feature to work with iPad like Air Drop.

Better than my blu-ray

I was having a lot of issues streaming on my Sony blu-ray player. After doing a ton of research on new blu-ray players and streaming devices, I decided to go with the Roku 3. I am very happy I did. It was easy to set up and so far has worked like a dream. I have the occasional streaming issue but that is due to my ISP. I definitely don't have the streaming issues with my Roku that I did with my blu-ray player.

I bought the Roku 3 as part of my strategy to drop cable TV. It has turned my good but not smart TV into an Internet ready device, avoiding the cost of replacing this otherwise perfectly fine TV.
My one wish is that the software not automatically play the next episode of a series, or at least make this behavior configurable. I tend to fall asleep while watching TV and this behavior proves inconvenient as I continually have to re-find the episode that I was watching.
