The overall performance of this product is excellent. The content is growing and constantly giving my wife and I so many different choices. It is so easy to use that we don't even watch regular TV anymore, just programs on the ROKU. Thanks.

Happy with the Roku 1 that I have, except wish there was a port for a wire connection, as my Wi-Fi signal is very unstable here.

Great content, needs better energy management

Excellent content choices. However, always warm to the touch. Also, connected to my network via powerline routing. Does not allow my powerline access point to go into power-save mode. A bit of a vampire.

one freezes up all the time

we are senior citizens that got tired of bad tv so after considerable research we ickd up two roku. one works fine, the other freezes up all the time and we have to reset it which is a tedious process.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have tried a few of the popular streaming devices on the market (including AppleTV, and by far ROKU3 has proven to be the best! I have determined it is an essential part of my entertainment, and I want to have one in every room of my house where there is a television. If you do not own this device, you are cheating yourself. Buy one today!

Just about great but not there yet

I love how I can connect to HBO, Showtime and more great channels by signing in and connecting via my cable provider. Can I do it without including them? Also, why can't I see the regular TV networks? I'd have to pay 45 bucks more a month just to see SyFy! No bueno. I'd love it more if I can select NBC, ABC and others and actually see shows from those channels and not just 1 or 2 min previews. Almost but not quite great. The picture is great though and there are a lot of other options for watching old and B movies. Most require a payment or becoming a member.
