My Home Theater Booster

Roku 3 has " upgraded" the movie experience in our home. My wife looks forwards after a hard week work to what she calls " Friday Movie Night" at home.

Fantastic Addition

I found my Roku easy to install and then the process of logging in various programs began. This was a bit tricky but managed to get all my accounts logged in and operating. I could not be happier with the endless number of shows available to my family! I plan on buying one for each television and returning the boxes that I rent for each television.

Lots of channels to choose from

I could not afford cable, and I would have to pay for channels which I wouldn't watch. I like the fact that I can get christian channels, which are my favorite channels. Gospel music is my favorite music, not all type music.

Works very well

We're enjoying using our Roku. One thing it lacks for setups as old as mine, is audio outs for a stereo. All the sound goes in the HDMI cable. We worked around this by connecting the headphone out to the stereo. Unfortunately, we're on DPL, so in the evenings, when there's a lot of traffic, we have a hard time getting uninterrupted streaming.

All the TV you can eat!

I've had the Roku3 for a few weeks now and am confident I bought the best streaming appliance!
Top feature for me is the ability to search across multiple providers; there are so many that, if you had to search each one individually, you'd never find what you're looking for.
Easy to set up and unobtrusive alongside my TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the Ethernet ability

I have both the 1 and 2 in addition to the 3. The 3 is super fast and the remote does not need to be pointed right at the box for it to work unlike some of the others that force you to point the remote directly at Roku. I have WiFi issues in the back on my house so the ability to hardwire my Roku with Ethernet connection has given me the ability to watch shows without interruption. If you want a fast acting, point your remote anywhere you want and the ability to use the Ethernet connection for limited interruptions, then you will love the 3.
