Nice tool for TV

I enjoy the Roku, but the remote linkage needs to be enhanced more often that it should. The set-up was difficult due to remote issues, but Roku staff were very helpful in getting things up and running. Fortunately, the process to re-link the remote is not terribly difficult, but I have to do this about once a week or 10 days and that is not convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased my Roku because I have decided to cut down my other services. I have been trying this now for about 1 1/2 months to see if I will be able to do this without too much of an inconvenience. I feel that I have a good choice of programming and it is only a matter of training myself that I don't need everything on 5 TV's. With doing alittle research I found there are other choices out there and I do not need to be strangled by my satellite service bill. I am hoping to join all the cordcutters out there by the end of the year. Roku is making this possible.

Better than cable

I recently purchased roku and cancelled my cable. I am thrilled with my choice and don't regret my choice at all. With my internet, Netflix and Hulu subscription I still pay less than cable!!!!

I happy with Roku player, but only thing which i wanted to address from Roku side is that normal warranty they should change to 1 year instead of 90 days.

Affordable alternative to cable & Dish packages

I finally got rid of my old TV and VHS VCR - - but had been dragging my feet to do so because I didn't know how to replace the taping function on the VCR without purchasing an expensive cable/Dish package that would include a DVR. Then I found Roku and I have been very pleased with the purchase. The only complaint I have with my Roku is that there is no good way to resume a show part way through at a later time/date. I have to write down how many minutes into the show I am when I quit watching and then fast forward the program to that spot when I come back to it.
