I have owned my Roku 3 for several months and couldn't be any happier. It is effortless to manage and performs better than most electronic products that I have purchased. It is a hassle free, convenient and well thought out product.

This is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I watch Roku more than regular TV. I had never heard of it before a friend told me about it. The number of available channels is incredible. And many are free.

A gift that keeps giving

I bought this as a gift for my dad. He used to be a truck driver and was on the road several days at a time. Since he got divorced, he's only had the free channels. Well, he recently changed jobs and is now home every night. My brother and I decided that when he wasn't working (or fishing) he needed better tv. So we chose the Roku 3. He really seems to enjoy it since he no longer has to wait a year and buy the latest season of his favorite shows.

I got this device over an Apple TV and have been pleased with it ever since! I've already spread the word and had multiple friends purchase one with similar opinions! Apps are great, remote is awesome. If I could mirror my cellphone to the TV it would get the 5 Star Rating other than that perfect!

I had previously been using a Xbox 360 for streaming media and the Roku 3 blows it out of the water. Switching between apps is very fast, the number of apps available is incredible (although a lot of them are not worth the download), and the headphone jack in remote is a stroke of genius. I would absolutely recommend the 3 to friends over an Apple TV. All that being said I do have one big problem with the remote. It works over the wireless signal in your home and I have found that the interference from all the other devices in my home will keep it from working properly. For example at time the remote doesn't work at all and when using the headphone jack the audio gets very choppy and becomes unusable. There may be some troubleshooting I can do with my home network but this has been the most frustrating aspect of the Roku experience.
