I have always wanted to be able to get Netflix. The Roku allows me to watch all the movies I want. I like being able to watch all the TV shows that I prefer. But I also like older shows like Gunsmoke. I can't seem to find any of those.

Configuration of Features

Aside from the fact that you (not Time Warner, Dish Network etc) create your own program guide (channels you are interested in), I like that you can configure the Roku 3 in other ways. It has an SD Card slot to expand on to add more memory for other things that you like to have. The usb slot in really cool too. I took a usb stick with MPEG-4 movies and played them which is really advantageous for me. I recently purchased a 1 TB hard drive and plan on dedicating it to the Roku 3 to introduce my own video and picture library. I would recommend the device as I have no complaints and only find that it can do more and more as I explore it's capabilities.

Had some initial issues with connectivity; sluggish, lots of buffering and stalling out. Then we reset the unit to factory settings and the Roku has been flawless, fast and accurate, since. It's worth the money!

I had heard of ROKU a long time ago but never gave it a try, but after two "smart" tv's and two streaming DVD players and one smart DVD player, I bought a ROKU. WOW! My husband complained and wanted to know why we needed it but after we used it the first time, we went out and bought another to use in place of the smart DVD player that gets hung up all the time. We use one ROKU on our big screen tv and one that we can move from one tv to another when we want to use it. I will buy at least one more eventually!

Great performance, size, and value

Have been using my Roku 3 for just over a month and am definitely impressed. Wish they would add more video formatting support for when a USB is attached to the Roku. Also, the Amazon Prime video interface could use some work, but other than that this thing is GREAT!
