New way to see TV shows

Simplicity all the way around

I tried a smart TV and returned it. The Roku was simple to hook up, effortlessly connected to my wireless router (a problem I was having with the smart TV), and is easy to use/navigate.
I absolutely love my Roku and am very pleased with my purchase. I can think of no cons with this stand alone streaming device.

Unreliable Entertainment Device

Bought this a year ago, and this ultimately makes your TV a Smart TV which is a cool thing.
There are a couple of technical issues, though: The remote control often stops working and the device also loses the connection to my wireless network requiring it to be reconnected often. Earlier today, I did a factory reset because I couldn't get the remote to respond to the network at all which reminded me that I had this survey waiting for me to complete.
It would also be nice if there was an on/off switch for the Roku 3.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love My New Roku 3

Updated from a Roku XD. Love the streamlined way to find new shows that I love. The headphones I have work perfectly on the remote to provide a quite atmosphere for anyone else that might be in the room not wanting to watch the program I am watching.
