I purchased this and cancel my cabel . It has worked out great for ny entire family . I would recommend this product to a friend . It's fasy and reliable alot of different options . I choose to use Netflix and Amazon prime to watch moves . Kids love it !

Who needs cable TV?

The Roku has exceeded my expectations. Lots of free live TV. Hidden or private channels have even more. We bought the Roku 3 to replace our cable TV. Between over-the-air TV, a media PC, and the Roku, we have all the content we need. If you want to save money, and break away from 'corporate' media, get a Roku.

I've only had the ROKU 3 for a few weeks but I have all ready learned to love it. My favorite feature is the search across platforms. The next favorite feature is the earphone connection in the remote which has proved to be very useful. Unfortunately this is also why I am giving the unit an overall rating of 4 instead of 5 as the earphone connection is overly sensitive and requires some adjusting of the connector before a good connection is made. This is possibly just my unit and not an overall poor design.

I very rarely leave reviews, but the Roku3 is so impressive that I had to leave a review to help others out. This is by far the best thing that I've bought in a while. It's super fast, has a great choice of channels, and it's small and unnoticeable. I now watch channels on the Roku more than I do satellite. I intially bought this to get rid of satellite. And I really think that it will do the job nicely. The only thing that it misses is live tv, but that's not the Rokus' fault.

Saw this at a friends a year ago and thought it was kind of silly. I was wrong. I kicke dmy cable to the curb and have been totaly happy since.
