No off switch

I have to unplug it 1 time every day to get it to work. They tell me it my television, an emerson flatscreen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great device, a little buggy

I bought this 6 weeks ago to go with my new 54" Visio. I have been very happy with my Roku 3. I bought it because I wanted HBO GO, Showtime Anytime, Netflix & Amazon Prime Video. The channel offering from Roku is better than any other streaming device. I would have given it 5 stars but I notice that every so often when I start the HBO GO or Showtime channel and I have no audio. I read from others experiencing this issue that unplugging the unit resolved it. I have to do this about once a week. Very frustrating.

I purchased my first Roku about six months ago at the urging of a friend. I'm so happy with it that I just purchased another Roku for another televsion in my home. The best thing -- easy set up even for a technological dinosaur like me!

Purchased a few weeks ago because I liked the earphone feature and all the different channels. I love this product any highly recommend it. Extremely easy set up.

Easy to set up and use

We have had our Roku 3 for a little over a month and we love it. We have been considering cutting the cable cord and wanted to try the Roku 3 before doing so. We will be canceling our cable and saving a ton of money every month. I really love the Roku 3 and can't find any fault with it.

This is our second in home Roku 3. GREAT units for movies and TV. Auto adjusts to the best picture quality when wi-fi in home for limited down load speed AT&T DSL in our rural area. The #3 model is the ONLY model that works with Netflix's multiple users menu. MHL stick and other Roku models don't tell you this. Also, downside: NO active streaming news channels; all have short (limited, no full stories) previous broadcast clips (Roku pls get CNN true live stream): Roku's News channel for CNN is 2 days behind.Roku's are an excellent value; help "desk" staffed and helpful/responsive in the past; recommendations taken in consideration/Roku emailed back. Please, put ALL (all) church related under that index.

Great product, however remote control needs to be improved. The issue is the headphone jack does not snap in the jack. So what happens is out headphones constantly fall out of jack.

Neat product with easy set up

I this for my sister who isn't too tech savvy and she loves it! the player was easy to set up with clear instructions included and had no problems. The web site where you select channels is a little on the clunky side and had to start the process over once or twice, but it was no big deal.
The sound and picture quality are great and the remote control has a solid, quality feel to it. This was a terrific purchase!
