Oh Roku -- why?

I have been a long time Roku user. I've purchased several over the years, they're reliable and the interface is pretty good. It integrates with all the services I want from Amazon to my Synology. Then why the low rating? [Warning technical content] In the current generation of Roku 2 and 3 players, Roku has chosen to use 2.4 ghz wireless technology to set up a secondary network for the remote -- no big deal if you live on a multi acre properly with no wireless conflicts, but a big issue in the already noisy channels of the townhome community where I live. Many of my devices can use 5ghz, but a few can't -- the Roku exacerbates the already challenging channel noise problem causing some other devices to be unable to keep connection. It would be livable if it could be turned off, if an alternate band or communication technology was available, etc. This is not the case. The only option is to purchase a less capable Roku device -- and if I wanted a low-end experience there are many players I could buy. This decision displays a lack of forethought and an inherent misunderstanding of this technology -- the rep I spoke to was happy to tell me how secure this wifi channel was, and that's nice (and necessary), but it's hardly the problem. I know I am not the only one to say this, and I hope the company is listening -- Dear Roku, I gave up my Roku 3 and I no longer have your product in my home. I want to come back -- please make decisions which will let me.

We bought the roku a month ago, we love it! It's a great alternative to paying for cable tv. We still have the option to get the channels we watch.

Not right Display on my TV it force to 480P,

Not right Display on my TV i select 1080P but force to 480P, Already talk to Support... nothing can help do. i just return back store. but Roku 2 XS Works as well than Roku 3.

I bought my Roku about 4 months ago and it worked fine for about a month, and ever since then it's been iffy. The programs cut in and out, I've had to reset it at least 5 times plus one hard reset (factory setting). I'm sure your product works fine for other customers, but that has not been my experience. Also, there are no new channels being added in the amount that was advertised.

The roku is king of content, and affordability but they're other streaming devices with better performance, and features. Like Amazon fire, the voice command is a very nice touch that I would love to see on roku. I would like to see voice control features more similar to xbox one. The other thing I would like to see is the performance bumped up. A 700 or 800 snapdragon processor, and the ram increase. 3gb of ram would be nice. These spec and features would put a roku device on beast mode. Thank you
