Great Assest - So I bought a second one

I had a Netgear Push to TV and replaced it with a ROKU. This is 100 times easier to use, faster and you don't need a laptop to use it.

The Roku 3 is a well thought out product, with some shortcomings. The interface is easy to use and attractive, but lacks some basic search abilities. Comcast is my cable provider and I did not realize that there was no agreement with Roku to support streaming of anything Comcast broadcasts including live streaming of the news channels and the premium stations (HBO/Showtime). My mistake for making that assumption, but it would have been nice to know. Due to this, content is very limited for me.

Very pleased. Movement throughout the feature selection process is very snappy, compared to my previous Wi-Fi receiver, which was incorporated into my Blue-Ray disk player.
I was disappointed that the ROKU3 does not have an analog sound output socket.

I love this little box! It has hundreds of channels to choose from. It was easy to install with easy to follow instructions to get signed into channels that require it. If I had the money I would have one in every room.

Great financial alternative to cable

As the patriarch of a single income home, the Roku 3 was a great financial alternative to a rising cable bill. Now we enjoy thousands of viewing options while avoiding the continued increasing expense of cable, and I would suggest this product to any growing family that is looking to cut household expenses!

I had the Roku 3 for about a month. Had problems since the beginning where it would not accept shows into the Queue. Or the buttons on the remote are not working. Several times have to unplug the unit to refresh the signals. Tried to get help but they could not figure why it was doing it. If you do not mind the remote not working all the time then it is nice unit.
Not everything is free on the shows. Current shows you can see but any of the older seasons you have to pay for the programs and special programs. Not cheap.

We cut the chains of pay tv! Now we watch ONLY WHAT WE WANT! Biggest bonus! We get JWBroadcasting too!! PERFECT ! And no monthly bills!
